What is a Social Network?

Have you heard of MySpace, Facebook, and Ning? These are the hugely popular social networking sites. If you would like more information on Social Networks, I would check here to read more on them via Wikipedia.

I would like to introduce to the new Social Network we are releasing on NING for the the Kenya 09 trip. Please click here to take a look! Or there will be another link after this blog post if you want to check it out after you read this.

We would love all of you to come and join us on the network at Kenya09. It is a fantastic place to have discussions, see the upcoming events, look at pictures, watch videos, chat, see the profiles of people traveling on the trip, read blogs, and much more. In addition, a largely attended and highly participated in social network is a HUGE asset for a budding nonprofit. Investors, sponsors, travel agents, travelers, all love to see how the community functions and the benefits that partnering with this group will have.

Will you take a few minutes and join our social network? Click on the link below, fill out a few questions, upload a picture of yourself if you have one, and start developing a community that is MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
